Duties will include:- the maintenance and repair of electrical machines. Repairs would relate to the disassembly, rewinding and reconnection of coils within a variety of machines, including direct current and alternating single/three phase motors, generators and transformers. Familiarisation with tools required.

Also includes modification to machine specialisations and the maintenance, modification and repair of control equipment.

Fibrous Plasterers install all the plasterboard and cornice in domestic dwellings, along with setting and sanding. In commercial dwellings, they are involved in suspended ceilings, partitioning for offices.

A fulltime position is available for a 1st Year Painting and Decorating Apprentice in the Brisbane North Area.

The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of the trade. This will include preparation of walls and ceiling prior to painting of new homes, repaints of existing homes (internally and externally), undercoating, top coats, this could include using brushes, rollers and spraying equipment.
