Apprenticeships Queensland, as a Group Training Company, indentures both apprentices and trainees to ourselves and then hires them out to Host Employers.
When you hire an apprentice through Apprenticeships Queensland you get the following, immediate benefits:

Minimise HR issues – our Employment Consultants handle any industrial issues with the apprentice, so you can get on with your business.
Staff training and development – while you train in the on-the-job skills, the theory and additional training is done by a registered training provider.
Your choice of candidates from a short-list, so you still get to choose the person who suits your business environment.
The flexibility to return apprentices/trainees to us for re-assignment during work shortages.
Reduced paperwork – you simply pay a weekly invoice at one inclusive hourly rate for ordinary time – no PAYG hassles.
The length of time you keep the apprentice/trainee is flexible. You may have enough work for your apprentice for the entire duration of the apprenticeship, but you may also only need an apprentice to meet short-term labour demands.
Host employers only pay for the time the apprentice or trainee spends on-the-job.
Apprenticeships Queensland pays the Work Cover, annual leave, sick leave, superannuation, and any other allowances according to the industry award. We also generate and distribute the annual PAYG Payment Summary.
All that is required of the host employer is to provide training and a safe working environment for the apprentice or trainee, and to pay the weekly invoice.
